We put Blackchrome compression to the test and the numbers say it all. Blackchrome compression is made using our TACT fabric. When scientifically tested against its competitors, TACT outmuscled them all.
Strength in numbers
A kilopascal (kPa) is a unit of pressure measurement. In a burst strength test, Blackchrome’s TACT fabric withheld a much higher amount of pressure before it broke, in comparison to other leading brands of compression.
What is a fabric burst test?
This form of testing can be used to determine the strength of a fabric. The fabric is placed tightly over a diaphragm using clamps. An increasing pressure using liquid is applied to the underside of the diaphragm until the fabric bursts.
The testing was carried out by AWTA Product Testing.
